Trash Can Missing From Desktop Mac

Today the company finally took a small step towards upgrading the current mac pro design but it also acknowledged what we ve all known for years the trash can aesthetic of the 2013 mac pro.

What you are going to do is create a symbolic link symlink in short to the trash app on your desktop. I can still move items to the trash but since i can t find it i can t empty it. The trash file is hidden so you need to find it somehow. I can t find my trash folder on my mac it isn t on my dock and i really don t know where to find it.

I can t find the trashcan icon anywhere. Then empty the trash and restart your mac normally. I m not sure when it went missing. Does anyone know where i can find my trash.

You put something in it as a temporary location before you throw it out and when you do throw it out it is for the most part permanently removed. I m new to os x. I used whatsize to locate the folder and double clicked to open it. I can put items in my trash but i want to empty some files not all of the files that are in there.

I m using os x 10 7 4. To temporarily prevent such items from opening automatically start up in safe mode by holding down the shift key while your mac starts up. The os x trash is a relatively simple concept. Running 10 8 2 and i accidentally hit remove from dock on my trash bin icon now i can t find trash anywhere on computer.
